External fees

Competition registration fees and journal or conference publication fees, where applicable, are external to the programme fee. They are communicated in advance, and you pay them to the organisation charging them — MeritForge does not mark them up.

What the fee does not buy.

Most of what makes a scholar profile persuasive cannot be sold, and any programme that offers to sell it is telling you something about what its certificates are worth.

Not included at any price

  • Authorship on a paperIt is considered only where contribution satisfies the project’s authorship criteria.

  • A competition awardResults are recorded as awarded by the competition, whatever they are.

  • A recommendation letterIssued where sustained performance gives the recommender a genuine basis. Otherwise, not issued.

  • A guaranteed admission outcomeNo programme can offer this honestly, and consultancy is a separate service with its own limits.

Questions

Before you enrol.

Why does an individual scholar pay more than a partner school?

Partner organisations enrol cohorts, which spreads competition placement, supervision and coordination across a group. Individual enrolment carries that work per student.

The programme itself is identical — the eight inclusions and the passport do not differ by track.

Can we pay in instalments?

Payment arrangements are agreed at enrolment. Tell us what you need on the application form and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.

What happens if a student cannot continue partway through?

The passport keeps whatever was verified up to that point — the record does not disappear because the six months did not finish. Fee arrangements in that situation are settled case by case.

Are competition entry fees included?

No. Competition registration and any journal or conference publication fees are external and communicated in advance, so you can decide which competitions to enter with the cost in front of you.

Is admission consultancy required?

No. It is an optional add-on, separately priced. The six-month programme is complete without it.

What does a scholar actually walk away with?

A Scholar Passport with a verifiable ID; a contribution ledger for the research they worked on; an integrity credential; faculty progress reviews; and a portfolio holding the repository, posters, presentations and competition evidence. Authorship and a recommendation if the work earned them.
